Threat & Vulnerability Risk Assesment

“A chain is only as strong as its weakest link”

Structures: High - Rise Buildings, iconic and historic structures, transportation hubs, telecommunication sites, industrial sites (chemical, electrical, water supply, fuel oil, natural gas, food supply); high-population density arenas, hospitals, universities, hotels, bridges, tunnels, governmental buildings.

Measures: ASI uses sophisticated metrics and quantitative methodology, including catastrophe modeling and an engineering-based bomb-blast damage and injury-assessment analysis.

Multi-Hazard Approach : We utilize a design approach that considers all reasonable threats. Our selection of preventive measures has the added benefit of mitigating the effects of several types of weapons, criminal activity, and natural disasters.

Multi-Disciplinary Team: Our career professionals utilize a variety of experience and expertise to identify vulnerabilities and customize solutions.

Understanding the threats: We have the experience in gathering the intelligence, assessing the structures using empirical methods, analyzing that information into a cost/benefit paradigm; which incorporates that data as part of a preventative/preparatory package for our clients.

Mitigation Through Environmental Design: Irrational threats and methods require calculations and counter-calculations. Our recommendations include security and/or physical upgrades. We use state-of–the-art interdiction methods at perimeters, high-rise lobby and entry points, and pre-entry points.

Biological, Chemical, Radiological/HVAC ASSESSMENT
The ASI Threat/Vulnerability and Risk Assessment Team can perform an engineering-based assessment and identify vulnerabilities of your HVAC systems. Chemical/Biological/Radiological
and contingencies are comprehensive in scope, utilizing the latest in computer modeling. A mitigation strategy is developed collaboratively, with a keen awareness of the sustainability of detection systems.
