Many of our Federal projects are currently in the GSA’s Design Excellence Program, and are increasingly incorporating sustainable design features to become LEED certified. Of our recently constructed or currently being constructed facilities, a few buildings in particular have been singled
out for award recognition.

Lloyd D. George Federal Courthouse, Las Vegas, Nevada was honored with a GSA Architecture
Award and an AIA Nevada Design Honor Award. Architecture magazine praised specific features of the blast-resistant design, saying that it “allowed for a public building that is dignified, generous, and open without sacrificing security.”

New U.S. Federal Building, San Francisco, California was recently awarded an
AIA Los Angeles Merit Award and an Architecture magazine P/A (Progressive Architecture) Award

New U.S. Federal Courthouse, Seattle, Washington received a 2004 GSA Design
Award for Architecture / Interior Design and also for Construction Excellence. This building also won the 2005 AIA Honor Award Commendation and the 2005 AGC Award
